I am looking for info on camping at the trailhead at Trapper's Lake, Co in the White River
National Forest. Is it possible to locate a Montana Tent base camp along the road close to the trailhead?

You and everyone else....that is one of the main access roads into the FT.

Another option may be Marvine campground. It's a few miles before you get to trappers lake.
