How does Rick Allen from Def Leppard not make this list? Dude's only got one arm for cryin' out loud. :D

:D cjcj your posts are always a visual display if nothing else...looks like you found the tab key this time....;)

The last 2 guys suck, and only get credit because they died. Moon was good but Bohnam was just an OK drummer but niether were fantastic. There are a lot better drummers out there than them.
How can Neil Pert from Rush not make that list?

How about the historical significance of Pete Best?

Ginger Baker deserves a spot near the top. Santana's entire percussion section too.

How about all of the studio musicians who were probably the ones that recorded this stuff for them anyway?

Harley, you know what I am talking about. I will break it to all of these guys. In any of your albums where it says guitars then a name that follows it that is the person who laid down the actual tracks. Most of the time its studio musicians who have been playing for more years than most of the artists have been alive. They record it then it goes out to us the consumer, and we see the pretty boys live and call them amazing when all the credit should be in the studio! Thats not the case with all of the bands, but it is with a lot of them.

Travis Barker from BLINK 182/PLUS 44 has to be some where on the list. I know BLINK 182 is more of a punk band, but that guy has some amazing drum skills!!!

It's not a top ten list if Neal Pert isn't on it, and he should likely be very near too, if not the #1 ranking. New on the scene is the drummer from Avenged Seven Fold that guy is pretty amazing and worth giving a listen too.
