Thanks guys. It wasn't ALL fun and games though. Wife's 73 Cat blew the blew the brass fuel inlet out of the carb on the way in so fixed it on the trail. I *lost* the speedo on mine on the way out about a mile from the truck and limped in. Ninety nine times out of a hundred caused by axle drive bearing (yup, that's what it was). Luckily wasn't six miles up the canyon. Yours truly will be wrenching to make it back for Presidents Day weekend. You have to pay to play I guess......
I had a 73" Artic Cat Cheetah 5000. Always seem like a few hrs of fixing for a hr of riding. Its cool to see some of those machines still out on the trail.
