I too have been looking at .243s. I’ve been deer hunting with my son’s the past few years. We have shot 4 mule deer with it, and they have all dropped in sight.

That is great, last I knew there were still some slower ones out there. I have a great 6 Manbun, but after Paul made my 260 and AI, I really think an 243ai would be ideal.

Oh you’re leaving whallop on the table if you do that. Get the .243, but then make it a 6mm WSM. Just a little tickle tickle with a reamer and trade someone for a mag bolt. 3300 fps with a 108 ELDm should do some work.

Unsure about 2-3 years ago, but last year I think rebates issued either prepaid physical card, or virtual card. Mine came through.

I’ve already got a wsm, and plenty of magnums really. I have a ton of .277 Fury brass that I’ve already formed to 260ai and I could do it for 243ai if I needed more headroom.
