Ticks ??

Howdy guys. I have my recent doe tagged deer hanging in the garage and noticed about 50 ticks crawling up her body to the head. Anything I should be worried about other than them getting on me? Advice is always welcome.

I have never seen so many on a deer before.

MAke sure they don't live !!!!

Ticks are part of hunting big game. Somtimes we put a Cape in the freezer for a few weeks to kill off the ticks. HAve you ever seen a Frozen Tick that was Full of blood

But as far as worrying about things, I think your OK.

I found one of the little buggers on me.

I was going to skin the deer tonight. I might wait a little until they give up my deer. It is in the low 40's here so the deer will be ok.

Make sure there aren't any on your clothes before you throw em' in with the rest of the dirty clothes. Next thing you know they're all over the laundry and house. Just kill em' as you find em'.

TICKS suck.. (no pun intended)
There is nothing worse that finding them on your deer, and then the rest of the day and night you can feel the little ba***rds crawling all over ya....
We seem to find more of them on us during the spring while out shed hunting...Either way, Ticks suck!!!
