Thumper headed out of Africa,

Thanks guys, I think the PH was just as surprised that we were able to pull that off in one day as this is the summer and not their high time to hunt. The horns on the Kuu were wet because after the shot and follow up.. (An entire 30 yard follow up) The bottom fell out and we got soaked. Hence, the reason that I did not have the gun in the picture. I honestly never though we had a chance on the Kudu, but we pulled it off at the last 30 minutes of the day. After a full day of stalking in waist deep grass and thronveld, we did make a drive and saw the track on a sand pit. Stalked it for a bit over a mile and when we eased up on a water hole, there it was 240 yards away. I was an awsome time and I started writing a story on it that I will popost in the Africa section.
Nut, I agree with you that that picture with the long neck critters was way cool. Tell me what makes it your favorite.:D
Cheers,
Mark
