Went to an airshow at the lakefront of Lake Michigan. The show was great. Thunderbirds were there for the finale, demo flights by F15, F18, Cobra helecopter, Sean Tucker, and a bunch of others stunt guys. But this was a sight that made a lot of old timers and even a middle age guy like me stand up and cheer. The old P51 mustang, the greatest plane ever built did a few fly-bys, and then came by multiple times in close formation with this younger bad boy. The Corsair got the same escort. Really was cool to see.
