tried it on my car today on a fairly small windshield crack and it worked perfect. Worth a try at least.

I have used it before.. It does keep the crack from spreading that is for sure.

I'm going to try one of these

They don't put sand on the roads out here, they put gravel for winter traction, I've never had a windshield last more than few weeks into winter with out getting windshield dings

I had to pound on the glass pretty hard to get the stuff to get in the crack so don't give up after a few taps.
