My daughter works part-time at a retirement community. Due to covid, they had to cancel their Christmas dinner, so they had a Christmas parade instead. I couldn't let the opportunity pass. Of course, we had a loudspeaker with Gayla Peavey singing her heart out.



Now I have a 4x8 hippo. I'm sure it has some kind of potential come next hunting season.

For lack of a better plan, I'm currently thinking of taking the lights and bow off the hippo and contacting a carefully chosen member of the Fresh Tracks team to arrange a secret shipment to the Bozeman area. I just want to see video of somebody saying, "All right, folks, we just made it to our glassing point... It's just getting light enough to see...Is that...Is that a...hippo down there?"

Resurrecting this thread from last year because we just finished this year's parade tonight. I still have the hippo, but I wanted a different theme. I chose Hawaiian, with Bing Crosby singing "Mele Kalikimaka." Not sure why everyone laughed as I went by.

We also had a more dignified entry with our son driving his '73 Chevy pickup with an 8 foot tall snowman waving from the bed.
