Who do you look up to in the Hunting Industry? Why?
of course there was the responses of all the TV idols....Yeah you know the names...
But one response I really liked (BOLD emphasis mine) was:
Bryce Lambley We might be talking semantics, but honestly, not sure I look up to anybody in "the industry" as an idol. That said, there are many that have high profiles that do it right and have my sincere respect, including some of those mentioned previously here who DIY and are also good citizens and husbands, etc. I'm sure many of you will disagree, but I'm not sure hunting is a sport that needs heroes. Or maybe put it this way, some of those who obviously ASPIRE to be a hero or icon (and then do all they can to try to make THAT happen) have their priorities wrong. On the other hand, those who because of their hard work, sharing nature, and other positive traits become admired and respected by others...that's a different story. Those folks truly inspire.
