That would really hurt if he clamped down on your fingers or hand. The first year I fished for these things I had one bite my hand while it was thrashing around. Let's just say it shreds skin in a big hurry. I've been a whole lot more careful since then.

Pike are a PITA! Teeth-filled, gill tac strips! That sheaphead looks as though it would easily punch a sheet of steel!

I remember when I moved back out west from being down south for a few years. I lipped a brown like I would a bass. Good refresher.
