It has been a year since I joined HT and I am amazed at how much I have learned from Randy and the members of this forum. In my transition from upland shotgunner and tree stand deer shooter to western big game stalker, HT and all of you have been irreplaceable. When talking hunting and guns this groups is amazingly helpful and brings many valuable perspectives to the table - a great place for learning and sharing. When getting "off topic" this group is one of the few places on the internet where the conversations remain (mostly) civil and rarely devolve into a cesspool.

I am thankful for the values and context Randy sets for this forum. I am thankful for willingness of HT members to help out strangers and make new friends. I am thankful for those who have helped me with PMs, and am thankful for those who have challenged my assumptions in sometimes heated debate. I am thankful for the sponsors that make Randy's content possible and have bought a bunch of equipment from them this year as I gear up for this new style of hunting.

I am very much looking forward to my first WY hunt this fall and (hopefully) the chance to post a few "harvest" pics like the ones the longtime HTers regularly share, and I am very much looking forward to a second year as a member of this forum. God bless and shoot straight.
