Well this has been a great year so far. This weekend was Kristins Dad's turn.
i went out to put some birds to bed friday night but with the strong winds it was useless. Saterday AM was a real shocker as it was in the mid 20's and breezy, BRRRRRR. Tim's Bro came along as well as Kristin so i had them just sit against some nearby trees. Well it was half hour past shooting and no gobbles. I thought i heard one fly down but wasnt sure. A little later i heard some crunching over the hill and so did time so i kept calling. Then i heard the drumming noise of a strutting tom. Hammer time! he came in silent.
