Short notice.
Weather is beautiful in Taos right now.
Thinking about taking off in a hour or so to try to do a night or 2 camping.
Anybody got any trail recommendations?

Cebolla Mesa has a trail that leads down to the Rio Grande River where it meets up with the Red River. the trail goes down a little over a mile. Great views. the trail to the campground can be a little muddy but we did see a herd of elk.

I’ll be damned, there’s still snow up on that mountain 🤷‍♂️
What a quitter.
Made it to like 10k ft and started postholing to the point that it wasn’t worth it to me.
Trail was kinda lackluster.
Timbered the whole way up the canyon so no good views.
Still a fun hike and better than Illinois.
