Suggestions needed...

Put 100 rounds thru it today. Very accurate. Not as easy to strip & reassemble as the Sig 229 but now that the cussing is over will be easier next time.
 
I'm not familiar with that particular model...does it have a full-length guide rod and/or no barrel bushing? I really prefer the original guide rod set up - never had a problem with it and got plenty of accuracy, and is much easier to assemble/disassemble.

Either way - they are fun guns and everyone should have at least one 1911.
 
Complete rod and bushingless Rick. It has a spring retainer that resembles a bent paper clip. Lining up the barrel connector loop with the takedown lever and notch is a blind beotch for reassembly.
