Been a while since I logged on but have had fishing on the brain so I thought I’d share. Before I left for my deployment I took leave to spend some time back home in North Dakota. It was a friday night and dad suggested heading down to the river for some walleyes. So we grabbed the headlamps and a lantern and it was well worth the cold weather, on the first cast dad caught a nice smallmouth and from there it was all walleyes. We ended up with 9, myself taking a nice limit from 17-24 inches, all in under two hours.
