Not sure I'm ready to buy one, yet. They seem to be everything I expected from my Mystery Ranch. 100lb+ rating, right around 4lb total weight.

Anyone know if the spotting scope attachment will fit on a Mystery Ranch Longbow? It looks like it should work...

I love my MR, but haven't even thought about putting it on since getting my Stone Glacier last fall.

Because of the weight difference between the two? Or is there another reason you prefer the Stone Glacier?

Primarily weight difference. I could notice it RIGHT away. I also like the large compartment vs. my crewcab. I thought throwing everything in the same compartment would drive me nuts, but its working well for me (to each their own).

I have packed out many elk w/ my crew cab and found the load to ride extremely well and tight. All of you who have used the MR know what I'm talking about. Last year, I packed out part of an elk w/ the Stone Glacier and found that it carries heavy loads every bit as good (if not better). The load lifter system on the SG was simple to use and set.

I'll let SG sell their own packs. I'm just giving you a common guy's view point.
