I put the boat in today mainly to run some stabilizer through the outboard before storing it for the winter. I haven't been on the water for a month and didn't know what to expect. The reservoir has risen 10' since my last trip and water temp was high 40's at the ramp. No fish at the first two spots I checked but the third showed promise. Had to re-anchor a couple times to find the "spot on the spot" as the Linder's used to teach but then it was pretty steady. Kept 25 and left them biting so I could get them filleted and the fish house drained before dark. Super fun day.IMGP0417.JPGIMGP0421.JPG

Today there was shooting in the Powder and just across the Snake on the Idaho side. Doesn't seem to be a lot of pressure right now. Wish I still had the legs for it.

We were just shooting clays over there, Honest, didn’t see a single chuck:) pressure has been way down this year, fire, drought and grazing all taking a toll I guess.
