Spot X 2 Way Satellite Messenger

Anyone have first hand knowledge of the Spot X unit? I am not looking for opinions on the InReach or 1 vs the other. Strictly looking at first hand knowledge of the Spot X unit. I have already done plenty of research on the InReach so I feel I have a handle on that unit. I am now looking for folks with first hand knowledge of the spot x to give some real first hand info on use and application. Likes and dislikes.

Oh, my usage of the unit would strictly be hunting, scouting and solo trips into the mountains on foot. No mountaineering, skiing or out of country use and always have a cell phone, GPS, map & compass on me.

I am looking into this right now. Did you come to a conclusion or decide on one vs. the other. Seems to me the plans are the same now basically.

Decide not to do either. The technology is cool but has a little ways to go as far as performance and price. I can live without it just like I have for over 40 years of outdoor adventures alone or with others. Decided to spend my money on out of state tags instead.
