Interesting end to Codie's season. He had won a wrestle off for the 160 class last week because of a suspension of the only senior. Well the coaches did not believe he could place at 160. So they moved the 152 up and put Codie as a sacrificial lamb because of the top guys in that class. Then he did so well and the regular guy only 4th at 160. Codie asked if they wanted him to keep practicing this week just in case he was needed for the sectionals. The coaches said no.

Well the coach asked Codie to get ready during lunch yesterday. This was after he finally ate like a 15 year old for 5 days. He was 8 pounds over the limit. He did a hour last night and lost 3 pounds. He then told the coach that he would not be able to lose the last 5 pounds in 20 hours. I also said no once I found out about it. The coach still tried to get him to try and said that he could even place high enough to go to districts. Now they had confidence in his abilities.

So Codie went to drivers ed again tonight while the team went to districts without a 152. Funny thing was the regular 152 was in the driving class tonight also.

We'd do 5-8#'s in a few hours jsut before Wrestling .... then Drink like HELL as soon as you weigh in. Although When the Pounds Flucuate like that you aren't in Peak fit either. Give and take. Now, I can Gain 5-8#'s in a Few hours.... DAM |oo |oo |oo

HAve him keep practicing, he'll be a Great meat hauler for you and VIP !!!!

Fred, you've got two awesome boys! It sounds like you've got them focused on the important things. Kudos to two fine young gentlemen and major props to their dad!
