Planning on hunting the first few days of West River rifle season in a couple weeks. Looking forward to getting back out there.
I know and am fully expecting it to be quite busy on opening weekend. But my question is - for those who have hunted it, how is the pressure the first few days after opening weekend? I know this varies by unit, land, year, and various other things - but I'm just looking for a general sense of it's the same level of chaos or if it dies down at all.
I've been on an opening weekend, so I have a rough idea of what to expect. But after that trip I only went back the last week and pretty much had the whole place to myself. Just curious on what others have experienced after that opening weekend and if we should adjust our game plan accordingly.
