I'll start by saying that I go hunting whenever I get the chance and the kids' schedules don't interfere, but I was just curious if any of you pay any attention to solunar predictions when you go hunting? I always look at them just to see what they say, but it doesn't really change anything for me. Do any of you really buy into them? If so, how do you use them? Thanks!

Best way is to keep records on whether YOU see deer during those times. I wouldn't NOT hunt because of them, but a good predicted time might keep me in the woods a little longer rather than heading back to camp for a nap.

I've been amazed at the midday movement of deer when i thought they would be brushed up.

Not to be flippant, but all of my buddies who keep track of moon cycles and barometric pressure never shoot shyt. Some of them do it with a weird obsession and have nothing to show for. Time of year plays a much bigger part into it (rut and colder temperatures). Is there a chance bucks were more active one night during the rut on a full moon cycle? Sure, but they're also much more active during the day and you bet your buns I'll be out there trying to catch them chasing tail!

I find I've shot more bucks between 10-1 than any other time of day during the rut, regardless of moon cycles.
