I don't remember so many bears, black and griz being so plentiful and on the move this time of year. Everytime out, I see more track, singles, doubles, triples.
Are some of you guys seeing this in other parts of the state? It's crazy! There is one sow griz with two 2 y.o. cubs that is really scaring the bajeezus out of more than a few hunters wandering around where I have been deer hunting. Amazingly, everyone has held their nerve and shot near her and not at her and she has took off. But bluff charging people is too much!!!
I wonder if they do not have the necessary body fat put on to make it, and they know it. They sure aren't getting gut piles!! Pretty rough going around here.
