So I was thinking today....

DUCKS with a BOW !!!!!

This morning I had Ducks come in and Land. I had Alot of Malard "HENS" up close, like 10' away, jsut floating and Quacking in the Water. Sure, I shot my Limit and All, But thought it might be a bit sporting to Try something new.

What is your Thoughts on Wacking one with a bow ?

I guess I don't really care what ya think

But am still going to ask a couple questions.

1. Is it ethical to Shoot a Duck in the Water ? Or is it like Shooting a Pheasant on the Ground or a turkey in a tree ?

2. Anyone ever done this ? Heard about it ? Know anyone that has ?

3. Who will call ME "STUD MOOSIE" when I finally get one ?

Any bird on the groud with a bow would be cool.
I killed one quail with a bow on accident I fired and they took off. arrow richochet and hit flying quail(how can you miss in a covey of about 50-75 birds)

ethical? who the hell cares what others think

a cheap recurve is alot easier to use for bird hunting.

Better read the game laws first. We ask about shooting geese with a bow and we were told no in here in Tn by the game and fish dept.
