I've got a Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 (hard to find left handed shotguns) and bought a random sling the other day for it, so that I am not hand carrying it for all of turkey season.

Problem is the barrel cap on this model is concave, so a wide attachment ends up rubbing a ton, resulting in both noise and scraping off the coating.

Hoping to tap the collective knowledge here and see if anyone has a sling they recommend with a narrow attachment, preferably with a rubber shoulder strap, so that it holds on my shoulder nice during duck season and wet conditions.

Photo below for reference. appreciate all the help I can get

Can't shoot a target of opportunity if the gun is slung over your shoulder.

I would replace the swivels with cord.

I have a Cabelas sling that has an inch or so of nylon then goes into the sling. That’s a pretty weird design. I would consider drilling a new swivel.

Was more thinking the sling would come in handy while locating turkey via calls or wading out to pick up ducks.

Hadn't thought of replacing the swivel with paradors... thats great idea

Have same gun with a bunch of miles on it. I use a claw slimline on mine it has rubbed some on cap but minor and NEVER noticed any noise.
