Skin them or let them lay?

What do you do with coyotes that you shoot? Do you skin them or leave them for worm food? I hate to see anything wasted so I usually try to skin what I shoot. But then I guess it's a personal choice......what do you do?

Here in Oklahoma we hang Yotes from fence post. The whole dead animal. The farmers want it that way. They say it is a warning to the other varmints.

We either leave them lay or hang them on fence depending on what the rancher wants.

Not worth skinning here, to mangy and even with good fur, no buyers.

When pelts are prime we turn them in whole to the buyers, they want to skin them.

When not prime I usually throw them on the burn pile.

I leave them unless someone wants them in the winter time... most of the times the coyotes here in AZ have no hair on there bellys and the coats are nasty looking. With the exception of jan and maybe early feb... If someone wants them I just give them the whole coyote because I am not going to skin it....
