Something Randy was saying on Elk Talk has me confused, should I be able to focus on both the pin and the sight at the same time? I only can have one or the other focused, doesn't matter the distance. Never occurred to me that this may be uncommon.

I focus on the target, after I have acquired the pin and placed it on the target where I want it. So when the arrow is released, the target is in focus and the pin is blurry.

You actually can't focus on two things at once haha. Once anchored center the housing in the peep, open both eyes, then get the pin on target, then focus on the target and subconsciously your mind will put the pin in the middle of the target. Finally pull through and execute your shot.
