F&G Commission approves temporary antler gathering closure for Upper Snake and Southeast Regions

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission recently set an antler gathering closure starting Jan. 1, 2024 and running through April 14, 2024 in the Upper Snake and Southeast Regions. The closure will only take place on public land, and activities other than antler hunting will not be affected.

Or run dogs all over the winter range looking for a lion or any of the other open seasons where you can actually kill something. I saw there is a current proposal even to extend grouse seasons until the end of January m; good thing we’re concerned about human impacts during winter…

Just means all those Utards have to drive further north… you should expect more company.

I think they’ll be scared of the trees and wet, heavy snow.

I do think you’re right though that open areas in r3 and 4 will see more people
