It’s been a grind on elk hunting. I didn’t do the scouting I normally do and that has hurt me. After the first four days I pushed elk out of my usual spot and been struggling to find more since. I think I’ll go back and check my honey hole to see if anymore moved in. Anyways yeartday was an eventful day found a few sheds including a very nice whitetail that went about 72” with my quick measuring and called this little bull moose into 40 yards. Came in grunting, swaying and thrashing bush. Wish I could have traded my elk tag for a moose tag then and put him in the freezer!! Wish me luck as I hunt the last few days of season. It ends the 30th and I plan to grind it out
