PayPal is too unreliable to even reach the correct person. Dave N and I worked out a deal on a scope a while back. PayPal sent the $$ to the wrong Dave Nxxxxx. ,at a different email address than I had used for him. The wrong guy finally came around and sent me my money back. PayPal said that seeing as how we used friends and family there was nothing they would do even though it was their mistake. I've gone to using personal checks. I've only had one guy decline accepting a check. I have nothing against him at all. If it doesn't feel right then just don't do it. I've had several guys here send me stuff before I was even able to get a check sent out on our Monday town day.

The scam was that it was listed as Safe Cleanout.....with no firearms......I feel cheated lololol

If it’s any consolation, I’ve seen Kauai on here for some time. Secondly, I’ve made some transactions on here that, looking back, may have been risky. I bought a bowtech off a dude on here that was an unbelievable deal. Like $200..? Was hard-up on funds a year later and sold that same bow to a pawn shop for $500 and kept the extra releases and other gadgets. @Sheltowee asked to use Venmo and it never once raised any flags. Partly because he is an active/well known member like @Kauaihunter is, and partly because it was not a super expensive risk anyway… I say quit harping on the dude and give him a chance!

I found it rather amusing that the items will be shipped "USPS GROUND" from Hawaii?? Shouldn't that be USPS aqua or something like that? Just joking, I'm sure he's legit. Good Luck with the sale.
