Saw him play back in the day when I used to really enjoy the NBA I don’t watch it much anymore but sad news today is apparently his 13-year-old daughter was also killed in the crash along with 7 other people

Awful . RIP . Feel most terrible for the families. Bad enough losing a legend but when kids are involved it leaves me speechless

Ya , sounds like he was going to his daughters jr high basketball game or tournament with some of his daughters teammates on board and another parent or 2 , Both of my kids all played in summer and winter leagues and we went to tournaments and traveled around places we just didn’t go by a helicopter but I transported other peoples kids to tournaments and I even coached in baseball all the way up from T-ball through junior high it’s pretty tragic
