Rifle or archery ?

That's the same where I elk hunt. Close elk encounters almost everyday during archery season and no people. Once rifle season starts, the crowds show up, and the elk vanish into thin air. Plus, I've taken my last few deer with a bow too. I vote for archery!

WY is awesome place to draw a tag for a lot of reasons, including the option to hunt archery and come back during rifle if needed.
Which rifle hunt dates do you have? If a peak rut that may be compelling. As is archery hunting deer in velvet.
How are you set for archery hunting prep in terms of practicing, and equipment being filled in already? If dialed in, go for archery.

go with what your comfortable with and what your most confident in making a clean kill with. If your archery is honed in and your confident id lean that way
Rifle season starts the 1st of November. Peak rut is around November 8th . The weather sometime worsens with the rut.
I own a crossbow that I never hunted with but this might be the hunt to break it in.
