Caribou Gear Tarp

REI sale

The oregon is out of stock. If I back order it, I still get it for the same price right?

I don't know for sure, but if you call them they are really helpful.

I think Cabelas had them for $199 over the weekend, so that might be worth a try too.

Cool - many guys seem to like the Oregon. I almost bought the rhino 120 - I like the peer to peer feature of those, but this is now too good to pass up.

Hard for me to say. I rarely walk around all day with it on.

I've seen people do that and they are changing batteries every couple days.

I get alot more than that out of it.

Shopping tip: check and see if you have a patagonia outlet near you. They have a clearance every Memorial and Labor Day. I got a nano puff for $50 last year and a micro puff for $40 not to mention other random steals like a basic synchilla vest for $5.

You can also call the outlets and ask if they have specific items and sizes. They'll do a phone sale and ship it to you if they have it.

That's a good deal, but you aren't mountain hunting unless your trekking pole includes an ice pick with a canard wing in case you need to self arrest...
