NRA magazine, North American Hunter had an article in its Feb/March mag (page 80)
197 lbs!

not sure if that worked as I have an X in place off the pic... I'll try this link:

I am giving this a "real" vote due tto published in the magazine... though, a tough one to swallow as real.

I know there was a thread in here on what OYO should hunt next... This would be an amazing challenge to fill a ttag on - wolf. I am sure it was mentioned...

Anyhow, WOW! What a pig of a wolf... I know I can make fish look bigger though to those who know the pic aspects of hunts and fishing... 200lbs is a beast either way!

North American Rifleman does not have a link for their articles. I searched for such to take the image from the article... found the same pic in other links.

If your seeking confirmation of the article's existence - maybe another here, who receives the magazine, can confirm the article - and pic.

Don't know what to say about the link though - would be nice if they did share their articles online.

Regardless, aside from the typical "stretch the cat" to drag the rear paws for the pic, or hold the fish out from the chest... still an impressive pic and size for a darn wolf! Haha! Amazing to think what that pig fed on to keeps that size. ;)

edit: Haha! Just realized... I listed the wrong magazine on the main post. My bad - NRA's Rifleman magazine was the intended article I was referring to. Too many hunting magazines out there now a days... :)

I get the magazine also, and read the article last night - good story.

I found a thread on North American Hunting Club's forum about it also, from last August - has the same picture.

They too were questioning it, and Bill Miller, the Top dog at NAHC, responded that it was indeed a legit picture.
