RCBS Case Trimmer

I have a .270WSM and a .223WSSM and they both say to take the #43 shell plate for the trimmer, but when I tried to put the .223 in it took alot of pushing and more to get the thing out. Is there another one i should try. HAPPY HUNTING.

they should have the same head size. perhaps the case is a bit out of tolerence?

I have a RCBS case trimmer 2, I use the RCBS shell plate #1 and the .223 fits in the widest ring just fine. Works for me.

He's not talking about the standard .223. It's the .223 wssm

I emailed RCBS with the problem they sent me a new #43 shell plate. I have no problems now cases for both the .270WSM and the .223WSSM both fit great. Very pleased with the RCBS quick response. HAPPY HUNTING
