While watching some of Randy's video's he had mentioned the Leupold rangefinder, and compensated scope, and thought I'd throw out another scope with which I have good experience with.

Redfield Revenge 4-12x42 Varmint.

Has ranging built into the scope for anything from gophers, to deer, to coyote and Elk. Optics are clear(yes, there are better out there, but I've also seen much worse!). Ranging and hold over to 600 yards.

I bought 1 for my 7mm-08 originally, but turned that rifle to pretty much a range gun. So I put it on my Savage 111 7mm Rem Mag. Liked it enough that I bought a second one for my Ruger 77 in 257 Roberts.

Just thought I'd pass along my review..

Range finder in the scope has worked well with all of the loads that I make/shoot, thus far.
Works for the 7mm Rem Mag shooting 150gr. Nosler ABLR's, the 257 Roberts shooting 90gr. Blitzkings, 100 and 115 gr. Ballistic tips, and the 7mm-08AI with 140gr. Berger VLD hunting bullets.
Can hit steel turkey at 430yds consistently with any of the above rifles/loads.
