How does that lake treat a first timer?

I was there for my first time last June with my kids who were 9 and 6 at the time. Having the kids had to help but I have never been fishing or hunting anywhere that people were so willing to share information. I'm sure fact that the fishing was great had to a lot do with it as well but everyone was extremely friendly. We were trolling with downriggers that time of year and we had a blast.

It really was and theyr'e ready to go back. The small fish is 17". The are great to eat. We just finished our last package. .
