I have shot 2 animals with my pants down. One mule deer buck. Walking down a logging road behind a gate. Stopped to piss, was mid piss when my brother says, there's a buck. I grabbed my gun and sat down in the snow with my pants unzipped and shot.

Shot a bull elk once when I walked to edge of a clear cut, surveyed it a while, saw nothing. Set my gun down, walked about 5 paces from it and started pissing. Just before I was finishing a herd of about 100 elk came out into the clearcut in single file line. I quickly got back to my gun and shot the first bull I saw in the line. I do regret shooting the first bull without even looking at the rest of the herd and have no idea if there was a big one in it or not. In my experience the big ones aren't usually with the herd during rifle season so there probably wasn't.
