This doesn’t have to be hunting related but can be.

What podcasts are you guys listening to?
I listen to Randy’s (most of them)
MeatEater (some, less lately)
THC( rarely lately)
Epic Outdoors and
Huntin Fool (most of them)
Rich outdoors (some)
Jay Scott (except turkey and fly fishing)
Joe Rogan (some)

I also occasionally listen to others regarding finance or food or just interesting conversations. Rich Roll is interesting sometimes.

That’s a fairly long list, but it’s still been the same old list for years.

Any suggestions to expand on this?

Tundra Talk by local Fairbanksian, Tyler Freel
Remy Warren Cutting The Distance has lots of good tips
BackCountry Hunting Podcast
Hunting Backcountry Podcast

Thanks! I actually do listen to some Tundra Talk episodes and Journal of Mountain Hunting too, I just forgot to list them. I’ll check the others out.

The Art of Manliness
Mike Rowe The Way I Heard It
The Weekly Havok (shameless plug...I was on episode #2)
Cal's Week in Review (part of the Meateater Group)
Startalk Radio with Neil Degrasse Tyson (science nerd stuff)
Infinite Monkey Cage (more science nerd stuff)
Super Human Radio (tips for old guys staying in shape)
The Tim Ferriss Show

I spend a lot of time behind a windshield. Your original list is also in my go-to list.

The Powell movement.
Mike Powell’s about the only ski media personality I can stand.
Lots of cool action sports interviews.

The only one I don’t listen to is Tundra Talk. I do like Joseph von Benedikt’s Backcountry Hunting Podcast. Obviously I don’t agree with everything he says but he goes in depth about cartridges more than I’ve seen on the other hunting podcasts.

People have mentioned most of the great hunting podcasts. On other subjects, I really enjoy Radio Lab, Revisionist History and if you have a (naughty) sense of humor and want to piss yourself laughing, try "My Dad Wrote a Porno."

Order of Man
Mike Rowe’s The Way I Heard it

Two good, non-hunting related podcasts that are usually worth listening to.

The Realignment - A wonky podcast by young conservatives who recognize that the Republican party is off the rails, and that the parties in general point to the lunacy of the other to justify their own

another vote for death in the west

The portal by Eric Weinstein - The man is a genius, and says things that are true that you will not hear anywhere else. A real heterodox thinker who repeatedly makes predictions that come to bear

The richest hill - Montana public radio podcast about pollution in Butte. I like the first season anyway

Brett Weinstein Darkhorse podcast - another heterodox thinker. Kind of guest dependent

Lex Fridman- dependent on the guest but usually very interesting

fire line- another Montana public radio podcast about our relationship with fire in the west. Only four episodes out but it’s real good

Rationally speaking with Julia Galef- Guest dependent, but refreshing to hear people without an agenda actually explore problems

Jocko Podcast- most bad ass American alive?

Dan Crenshaw‘s podcast - Crenshaw is a Republican first no doubt, but he is consistent and has a lot of good points. Being someone with a proclivity to agreeing with liberals, it is good for me to listen to and balance my perspectives

Sam Harris making sense podcast- Totally guess dependent, but another guy who speaks clearly and can’t be put in a box.

I recently started listening to Jocko Podcast. He's a retired seal. Although mostly centered around military operations throughout history, it's about "embracing the suck"...overcoming adversity

Randy of course. I also enjoy Jocko podcast. Retired seal. They're mostly about sucking it up, and leadership.

Sorry. Fat thumbs

Big fan of Remi Warren’s podcast cutting the distance. As a new big game hunter I’ve learned most if not all of how to go about hunting from the draw process through hunt strategy to butchering/euro mounting form listing to Randy’s podcast, MeatEater podcast and Remi’s podcast. As a bird hunter I occasionally listen to the hunting dog podcast. Rogan’s is good as well. Hunting photographer is a cool one too if you’re into that sort of thing
