It's been a lack luster deer season for me. Not even any close encounters with target bucks.
While sitting in the stand this weekend, I did some math and I've got roughly 250hrs in the stand this year between archery and rifle seasons and they aren't over yet. This doesn't count any time spent elk or antelope hunting.
I could have certainly killed deer, but my freezer is full of elk, antelope, and still has some deer from last year. Needless to say, I've been being very picky.
Time to start stacking fur I guess.....
