Peep/Tang/Vernier sight for Great Plains Rifle

I think I would like to add one of the above styles of sights to my Great Plains Rifle before I hunt with it. The peep sight made by Lyman seems like it would work well but seems a bit anachronistic. I'm not a stickler for historical accuracy on a gun that isn't all that historically accurate, but I'm hoping someone knows of a better looking rear sight to add to my rifle. Any ideas? Thanks.

I’ve been shooting a T/C tang peep on one of mine, they’re hard to find but shoot and look good on a Plains rifle.
