Pack in DIY CO archery deer hunt?

Thinking of doing a DIY pack in archery deer hunt in a year or two in the South, Southwest portion of CO. Looking for remote country and have thought of the Weminuche and/or South San Juan wilderness areas. Not trophy hunting but would like to know some booners are out there to be chased. Do either of these areas offer archers a chance for such a hunt or are wishing for a miracle? Look to put forth a few scouting pack trips before then to get familiar with the country as even if they don't hold deer looks like some awesome country.

There are big deer in virturally every unit in CO.

Archer tags are pretty easy to draw in most units and can usually be had with 0 points.

Both of those wilderness areas have some huge bucks during the archery season....think above timberline.....away from pack trails.
