There was a powered catamaran for sale a few months ago. $80,000 and came with solar and desalination equipment. Might have done it if satellite internet was truly mobile.

The biggest difference in a marine mechanic and automotive mechanic is that a marine mechanic needs
to be able to fold himself half, possibly remove one arm and a leg to slither down under the galley sink to get to the engine.
