Over thinking chokes is always fun: What chokes for pheasant and grouse in a double barrel?

Yesterday, I opened up a choke on the right barrel of a new (to me) double.

For blue grouse I started using federal game shok 12 ga 2 3/4 with modified and IM chokes but discovered it didnt pattern very well for what i was using. Finally tested other loads and both Federal upland steel and winchester xpert steel patterned better at same range (with mod choke).

For pheasants I would do IC and modified. For Bobwhite quail I would do cylinder and IC.
