Otc elk colorado

Which unit of choice would one select for OTC Elk in Colorado for archery? I primarily have interest in NW units of the state. Any help with this would be great. Looked at Google earth much and have talked with CPW folks. Just wondering others opinions would be wonderful. Thank you and best of luck to all for this falls hunts!

Thanks SilverDollars. I'll be at CPW on Tuesday to see about leftovers. Have a couple hunt units in mind but highly unlikely to get. With that said I am searching for suggestions for OTC hunt units if the left over thing fails. Thank you for responding.

If you are buying an OTC tag it is good in any of the OTC units. You don't have to pick one. Leftovers are unit specific.

As stated, OTC Archery tags have nothing to do with the leftover list. OTC archer elk is unlimited, you can buy right over the counter on the day that you arrive in CO and hunt any unit listed on the map found in the big game booklet as OTC archery.
