Old Race Cars

Like old rifles some are just timeless and sound awesome when you "let em rip". The Porsche 906 is a perfect example of 1960s awesomeness. My buddy is the Marketing Director for a company called Canepa, basically an uber rich dudes toy shop. Part custom shop, part museum, part race car factory.

They got to take this 906 out on the windy mountainous highway that connects silicon valley with the ocean. Hopefully the link works, enjoy.

If any of you are into old race cars you owe it to yourself to take a trip to the vintage races at Laguna Seca in Monterey someday...

Yeah the video is a bit of a tease, but I'm guessing the boss didn't want them pushing a car worth a million dollars too hard on a road with notoriously bad drivers...not to mention having video proof of it.
