Anybody out there have thoughts on Ohio rut?...........Nov. 7th I seen bucks chasing does and some people claims rut hasn't hit full swing yet. From the 9th to 13th I saw little movement. People claiming the moon will set the rut into full motion. I personally see less deer moving now. Maybe coincidence IDK.

Same for me. Nov 2-8 saw lots of chasing everyday, grunting like crazy lots of cruising. 9th -15th saw very little activity, spotted few bucks just following doe. Yesterday & this morning activity picked up a bit but everything has shut off at 830am both days. I did have a close encounter with a big heavy chocolate rack 10pt I've been after yesterday morning minutes after getting in stand, couldn't see vitals for a shot, to dark. Another buck I'm after (heavy 8pt) bought a pass until next year....he decided to break off his right beam after his G2. Ihistorically I've always seen the best rut activity 3rd week Nov. in my area year after year. Good luck!
