NM Shed Hunts

Planning on shed hunting starting next month here in NM. Am I able to shed hunt whenever or is there a time where it’s allowed? I’ve heard people say both.

The article above from NM Game & Fish was from 2017, so things may have changed. There is a section in the article about rules, but it looks pretty straight forward. Good luck!
