If you plan on catching sheepshead, bring an electric fillet knife if you can. Makes cleaning a lot easier!

Nice catch. Haven't ever done much saltwater fishing but it definitely looks fun.

Around Christmas, the pompano are running in the surf. The best tasting fish in the Gulf IMO!

Nice! I'm headed to Ocean Isle, NC on June 1st. I've got all my fishing and crabbing gear ready. Renting a house on the inlet side with a dock to fish from. I'm also going to rent a kayak so I can get back in the grass beds a little and maybe catch some redfish.
