Yeah, when I bought it they were going from $900-1,200 on GunBroker.A nice used M77 goes for over a grand on Gunbroker now. Or really anything in 257 bob
Hence why I jumped on it!

What year/twist is yours? I was getting some wobbly holes in my 100 yard target with the Core-Lokts.I got a 99A in 250-3000. Cherry condition.
It shoots 100 grain core-loks well.
Pre-1960ish .250 99s are 1:14, post 1960 are 1:10.Top be honest, I don't know what year and twist it is. I'll look it up and report back.
Gorgeous No. 1. I'm kissing 3200fps with the 95gr. Hammer HHT in a 21" .257 Roberts AI built on a CZ 550 FS. Probably don't need particularly need to go to the 26" to scare 25-06 performance.Love the 257 Roberts. Mom took caribou with hers when we were in Alaska and a bunch of Mule deer and a couple elk after we moved to Oregon. My #1 is indicating it’s time for a new barrel. Been thinking on turning it into a 257 AI, keep the light sporter barrel profile but stretch it out to 26. Be nipping at the heels of the 25/06
